Your responsibilities
- Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful plant-wide operation
- Reviewing deliverables of self and team
- Evaluate, apply and refine policies, procedures, controls and methodologies
- Complete tasks beyond formal job responsibilities
- Lead the operations of the finance department which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable and accounting staff
- Manage the creation of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts
- Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation if required and other departmental or company-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required
- Give executive committee monthly financial reports
- Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash
- Responsible for month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis
- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
- Progressive accounting experience, including as a Controller required
- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
- Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
- Manufacturing industry experience required
