Position Summary

As a Human Resources Representative , you will play a pivotal role in supporting our employees, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to our talent acquisition efforts. This position reports to the HR Generalist and involves a range of responsibilities related to OSHA compliance, record-keeping, job fairs, and overseeing our intern program

Essential Functions

  • OSHA Compliance

    • Maintain OSHA 300 logs and ensure accurate and up-to-date records of workplace injuries and illnesses.

    • Collaborate with the safety department to implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.

  • Employee Records Management:

    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, training records, and performance evaluations.

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and company requirements related to record-keeping.

  • Talent Acquisition and Job Fairs:

    • Participate in job fairs, career expos, and recruitment events to attract potential candidates.

    • Coordinate and conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings as part of the hiring process.

  • Intern Program Management:

    • Oversee the company's intern program, including recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support for interns.

    • Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions and career development organizations to attract top talent.

  • HR Support:

    • Provide HR support to employees and management, addressing inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

    • Support orientation and onboarding efforts for DOL and DOT.

    • Assist with employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement processes.

  • Compliance and Reporting:

    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

    • Prepare and submit HR-related reports and data as required.
