The role of Human Resources Assistant requires bilingual Spanish speaking experience and someone who is a self-starter. As a vital part in the Company’s success, this role will handle a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks as well as clerical support for the HR Department and employees regarding all HR related activities, policies, processes, and procedures. The Human Resources Assistant will handle confidential business matters and information with discretion. Fairfield Processing Corporation offers a great work environment and is looking for a highly skilled and motivated candidate.


Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7AM - 3PM or 8AM-4PM, Full-Time 40hrs


Job Details
: 6432 Prescott Ave, St. Louis, MO.


Pay Range:
$18.00-$20.00/hr.


Essential Duties

  • Back-up receptionist responsibilities as needed (direct incoming calls to the appropriate person/department and greets, screens, and directs on-site visitors to appropriate person/department.)
  • Prepares outgoing mail.
  • Compiles current and necessary forms for new hire employee file packets.
  • Assists in maintaining applicant tracking (data entry).
  • Organize and conduct new employee on-boarding orientation.
  • Process termination paperwork and update in HRIS system.
  • Assist with Employee Relation issues.
  • Post all necessary legal or regulatory notices related to HR in view of all employees as required by law.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Support team to reach common goals, listen and respond to the concerns of other employees.
  • Manage filing system for the HR Department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.


Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of Human Resources administrative office experience (Preferred).
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
  • Excellent customer service kills
  • Sets a positive and professional tone for the office.
  • Capability to interact with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining an approachable and appropriate demeanor.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focused.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using all office equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)
