International Food Products is Hiring a Human Resource Administrator Near Fenton, MO

POSITION PURPOSE: The Human Resource Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the HR department by providing efficient and effective administrative assistance to the HR department. This position serves as the backbone of HR operations, ensuring smooth and seamless execution of administrative tasks and processes. By managing various administrative duties, the HR Administrator contributes to enhancing organizational efficiency, maintaining compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering a positive employee experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Processes changes in the HRIS system to include New Hires, Terminations, Changes, Benefit Changes, etc.
  2. Completes background checks and places together offer letters.
  3. Job posting management, resume sorting, prepare and customize offer letters, facilitate background screening, coordinate pre-employment assessments, and coordinate pre-employee testing such as drug/alco/physicals.
  4. Drug Pool Administrator: Sends out monthly random drug testing to all facilities. Maintains lists to send to carrier for proper pulling. Ensures results are received and entered in the HRIS system. Ensure plants have the necessary testing supplies.
  5. Overtime hours reporting for Plants and Fenton employees every two weeks to the CEO and Operations Officer.
  6. Approves all invoices related to pre-employment testing, gym memberships etc.
  7. Creates and sends the monthly Birthday/Anniversary list.
  8. Organizes the monthly gift card program. Ensuring gift cards are ordered and sent out as needed.
  9. Coordinates annual Health and Wellness fair with the HR department.
  10. Maintains the company’s social media group for employees ensuring that regular posting and communication is happening.
  11. Conduct new-employee orientations at headquarters to ensure employees gain an understanding of payroll system. In charge of Welcome Bags for New Employees.
  12. Kudos Program (employee rewards program).
  13. Files all necessary HR items in the proper electronic files.
  14. Completes payroll audits each pay period. One for the Corporate office, one for a plant location.
  15. Verifications of Employment
  16. Organizes office parties, lunches, trainings, and events as needed with the HR team.
  17. Runs the company’s volunteer program.
  18. Other duties as assigned.

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The first back-up for the receptionist in her absence or as needed throughout the day.
  • Serves as back up, when possible, for the HR Manager.
