The Human Resources Champion assists with all people operation strategies including serving as the agency’s benefit administrator and implementing initiatives to recruit and retain staff across all programs and departments. The HR Champion plays an instrumental role in employee engagement and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEI&B) practices. We are looking for the person in this role to have a welcoming and engaging personality as they will function as an ambassador for Provident Behavioral Health in the community.
In this job, you will experience variety as you accomplish tasks. For example, moving from a report about how recruiting efforts are working to ensuring each staff member is recognized on their special day. Or, answering an employee's questions about her leave when she has her baby to immediately phone screening candidates for our Crisis Services team.
In this role, you will partner directly with the HR Director to make certain every candidate feels welcomed and ready for work, every employee feels empowered to do their jobs well, and that the culture is one of inclusivity and belonging. And, you would be helping to develop a candidate pipeline as you establish relationships around St. Louis with universities and colleges.
An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent education and experience and be PHR or SHRM-PC certified . We are also hoping you have at least two years’ experience working in Human Resources in an administrative support, customer service, or recruiting role along with experience managing employee benefits.
