Job Description

Company Overview

Evergreen Cooperative Laundry (ECL) is the only employee-owned commercial laundry firm in the United States. We use our state-of-the-art facilities to offer laundry services to hospitals, nursing homes, and hospices as a critical part of delivering healthcare to Cleveland residents. The Customer Service Manager is an integral member of the team that will have a primary focus on communication, quality of service, and delivery.

Essential Duties

  • Communicate with customers in person, over the phone, by email, and/or fax.
  • Assist customers to set up and/or establishing par levels.
  • Resolve customer issues and/or complaints and involve management as needed to resolve the concerns.
  • Responsible for supervising the drivers daily, including training, scheduling, and counseling.
  • Oversee the appearance, operation, maintenance, and servicing of company vehicles.
  • Maintain gasoline receipts and reports
  • Responsible for monitoring gasoline prices.
  • Relieves and/or covers drivers in their absence.
  • Responsible for establishing employee schedules.
  • Works closely with supervisors and/or managers daily to coordinate activity.
  • Responsible for conducting cart inventory.
  • Ensures trucks have all the required items including but not limited to the following items: gloves, gowns, hand sanitizer, etc.
  • Responsible for setting up Linen Committees.
  • Reports all accidents and injuries promptly.
  • Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Participates in regular safety meetings and/or safety training.
  • May perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Supervision

  • Works under the direct supervision of General Manager.

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate with others with professionalism and respect.
  • Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.

Work Experience

  • 1 to 2 years of transportation-related work experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass Cleveland Clinic’s background check

Working Conditions

Physical Work Demands
  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach daily for long periods
  • Able to walk an extensive amount of hours
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

  • Regular and on-time attendance.

  • None required.
Annual Salary: $42.000 - $52,000
