JOB SUMMARY – TALENT DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

To provide administrative and creative support to the talent development function. The incumbent will play a key role in coordinating, tracking, and creating learning and development activities and collaborating with employees to drive learner engagement.

CREDENTIALS

  • Experience working in human resources / talent development preferred.
  • 2-3 years in developing and/or implementing formal training programs.
  • Must be highly focused on delivering excellent customer service, being self-driven, and developing effective relationships throughout the organization.
  • Must have strong project management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation & persuasion skills required.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize, ability to work independently, high attention to detail, and ability to meet established deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes all relevant tasks for the successful implementation of training, travel and other learning and development activities.
  • Develops and conducts audits to identify training needs and opportunities for performance improvement.
  • Types and designs general correspondence, memos, workbooks, etc., where necessary.
  • Manages the company’s LMS, performance management and talent development applications and provides support to employees where necessary.
  • Maintains up-to-date records of training delivered and prepares reports.
  • Manages and monitors related budgets and reports on key metrics.
  • Keeps up to date with developments in training techniques and resources to ensure the effective use of technology and appropriate delivery methodologies.
  • Supports succession management and career development activities.
  • Designs, develops, updates, and delivers professional quality presentations and training materials to include classroom trainings, workbooks, job aids, quick reference guides, webinars, videos, and eLearnings.
  • Supports data collection and data analysis for learning and development initiatives.
  • Undertakes special talent management projects, as required.
