Edgewood Center for Children and Families is Hiring an Administrative Coordinator 1 Near San Francisco, CA

NOTE: The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has issued new requirements for health care and congregant care facilities to decrease the risk of COVID-19 outbreaks. Based on the CDPH public health mandate, all candidates for positions at Edgewood Center must provide proof of vaccination. Edgewood Center will consider applicants with ADA and Title VII exemptions on a case-by-case basis.

Administrative Coordinator 1-This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Mon-Fri. with flexible start and end time during operational hours, located on-site at our Vicente campus.
Position Summary
Provides administrative and program support in the Quality Management (QM) Department, with a focus on maintenance of electronic and physical health records, and administrative support to the QM Department. This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
Essential Functions
  • Maintain, organize, track, and archive client physical health records.
  • Maintain, organize, track, and archive client electronic health records.
  • Verify client insurance eligibility (i.e., Private Insurance), and Medi-Cal Eligibility.
  • Communicate findings to QM staff and program managers
  • Run reports in EHR systems (i.e., Welligent, Avatar, and EPIC) to monitor client health care coverage and staff compliance with credentialing requirements.
  • Track and input data (i.e., Surveys, client demographic, staff demographics, etc.).
  • Process client admissions, client closing, updates in EHR systems (i.e., Welligent, Avatar, EPIC, etc.).
  • Track and input client authorizations.
  • Assist in credentialing process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Applied Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to data entry in multiple EHRs (i.e.,Welligent, Avatar, and EPIC).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to get along with a variety of people.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Salary Information
This position offers an hourly rate of pay of $23.00 per hour to $25.11 based on experience and language differential.
