Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Project Manager to provide support to a client in the Maryland/Washington DC Metro area. Join us as we build systems to change our client's mission for the better. This program will provide Information Security Services to the National Institute of Health (NIH). You will be part of a program which provides robust information security to protect NIH across multiple environments on-premises, co-located, mobile, and cloud locations.
- Analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project.
- Provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.
- Establish and monitor project priorities, objectives, and procedures, determining area objectives, targets of service, and resource needs allocation.
- Coordinates and monitors work activities by scheduling staff assignments, setting the work priorities, and directing the work of project resources.
- Develops and maintains records and composes correspondence relative to work.
- Escalates impediments, manages risk, helps ensure value delivery, and helps drive improvement.
- Facilitates project meetings with project executive team and stakeholders.
- Commensurate experience and education for the specific level.
- Bachelor's Degree. (Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.)
- Minimum of 20 years relevant experience
- PMP certification required
- Previous experience and knowledge of NIH, and their technology and security environments are highly desirable.
