DQS is looking for an experienced HR Supervisor for our Dearborn office!
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Supervisor to join our team. As the Human Resources Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department and ensuring that HR operations run smoothly. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication and organizational skills.
Duties:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including interviewing and hiring candidates
- Oversee talent management initiatives, including performance management, employee development, and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations
- Handle employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers on HR-related matters
- Supervise HR staff and provide coaching and mentoring as needed
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals and initiatives
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in a similar HR supervisory or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
- Experience with HRIS systems such as SAP, Workday, Oracle, Paychex, or Paylocity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively supervise a team and provide guidance and support
