Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring for a qualified, patient-care focused Director of Nursing to work for a large healthcare system in SW Houston, TX. Skilled Nursing Facility experience required.

Director of Nursing is responsible for providing leadership, direction and support for one or more patient care departments, ensuring the delivery of quality care to patients; and for planning, implementing, reviewing and controlling the budget, staffing, and robust process improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing leadership, direction and support for the Long Term Care & Skilled Nursing facility.
• Ensuring the delivery of quality care to patients; and for planning, implementing, reviewing and controlling the budget, staffing, and robust process improvement.
• Fosters a cooperative and collaborative relationship with the physicians; establishes and maintains good inter and intra-departmental relationships while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal agencies.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Required.
• BSRN and current Texas State RN license. Required.
• Skilled Nursing Facility experience. Required.
• 5 years of progressive clinical experience. Required.
• 5 years of demonstrated nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility. Required
• Management experience or leadership of staff with performance management skill experience.
• Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences.
• Models hospital service standards of providing safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences to patients and our workforce.

Job Details:

• Schedule varies; Typically M-F hours between 8am -5pm
• Salary: Starting at $60/hr (Based on Experience) benefits
