Job Summary:
Interim HealthCare is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Nursing- Home Health to join our team in Bloomer, Houston, TX. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the franchise industry. As the Director of Nursing- Home Health, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all clinical aspects of our home health services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. You will also serve as a key member of our leadership team, working closely with our management staff to drive the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as Interim Healthcare guidelines
- Oversee and manage the clinical staff, providing guidance, education, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care
- Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and healthcare providers to enhance patient care and promote our services
- Monitor and analyze clinical outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
- Ensure efficient and effective communication between the clinical staff, management team, and other departments
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations to assess strengths, areas for improvement, and career development opportunities for clinical staff
- Participate in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote our home health services
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to manage staffing levels and ensure adequate coverage for patient needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of patient care and services
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in home health care, with at least 2 years in a management/supervisory role
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers with compassion and empathy
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations for home health care and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) software. Oasis experience preferred.
- Able to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
