Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Receivable Specialist located in San Diego, CA. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing accounts receivable transactions, creating and maintaining invoices, and analyzing trends.

Job Requirements

-Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies

and procedures

-Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting

and recording accounts receivables’ data

- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are

applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared

-Support customer discounts, rebates, credits and other discrepancies by and resolve customer

billing issues

- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for

and properly posted.

- Communicating and facilitate payments of invoices due by sending invoice reminders,

statements, and contacting customers, (email, telephonic and or video).

- Setting up of and maintaining customer account details to ensure accurate invoicing, payment

application and reporting.

Qualifications

-Experience with retail and distributor receivables is required.

- Minimum of 5 years work experience in Accounts Receivable.

- Detail oriented, excellent communication, verbal and written, research and problem-solving, and

time management skills a must.

- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets (Excel) and accounting software, NetSuite

preferred.

- Highly collaborative and able to create/manage new process/workflows.

-Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency with Excel

-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
