We are a fisheries company that provides full end-to-end solutions for fish farming and aquatic species research - including quality equipment, expert consulting services, and innovative platforms and products that deliver unrivaled data, information and insights. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Associate to join our accounting team out of our Boston office.
Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for processing and managing all accounts payable for the organization. This includes entering invoices into the accounting system, reconciling supplier statements, and managing vendor relationships.
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update accounts payable records including supplier information.
- Maintain supplier relationships.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Assist with year-end financial and tax audits.
- Provide support to the accounts payable team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Syspro and Adaptive Insights.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
