Job Description :

• Over all 10 years’ experience required.
• 5 years minimum experience as a project leader within an engineering company, on activities with a commitment to result.
• Within the Technical Department, the Project Director ensures the overall management of a portfolio of projects with a commitment to results concerning one or more industrial sectors (Automotive, Energy, Aeronautics, Rail, etc.) or a geographical area.

Manages the overall delivery of a project portfolio:

1. Validates staffing/destaffing

2. Validates delivery notes and receipt reports

3. Prepares claim files and amendments

4. Prepares and co-facilitates monthly steering committees

5. Ensures compliance with the financial objectives of the projects in its portfolio

6. Proposes and manages the project margin and productivity optimization plan

7. Ensures financial reporting of projects and contributes to arbitrations relating to the Delivery part

• He can take direct management of high-stakes projects: Volumetry, Customer Strategy, Technical and/or financial recovery.
• He is responsible for the deployment and compliance with ALTEN standards by himself and his project teams.
• It enforces behavioral rules in terms of quality, health, safety and environment defined by the Group and recommended by the customer.

Team management :

1. Leads the project teams: manages the resources and skills allocated to projects within its scope

2. Coordinates the CP / Platform Pilot / Batch Manager / WP Managers / Team leaders of the projects to ensure the quality of deliverables and optimization of financial results

3. He is hierarchically responsible for the Level 2 Project Managers and he functionally directs the Level 1 Project Managers

4. He transmits his knowledge and ensures the skills development of his project teams.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
