Project Coordinator (Troy, MI)
Summary – Responsibilities include the full scope of implementing a new or upgrading an existing client on proprietary software applications. This would include defining requirements, creating and implementing a project plan, overseeing the progress of all data conversions, providing guidance and assist with the Business Analyst and Project Manager Responsibilities and priorities. Along with the duties of a Project Manager, the Project Coordinator has the responsibility to carry out, implement and standardize Departmental processes as well as review processes for improvement. Additionally, Project Coordinator will be responsible for general Department processes and procedure training as well as monitoring training progress and schedule of new Business Analysts and Project Managers that come into the Department.
Project Manager Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Coordinate tasks and resources needed to complete projects based on timeline
  • Liaise between PM, BA and client to identify and define project requirements
  • Help prepare project timelines, data request letters and data documentation check list
  • Create and maintain new client onboarding and client sites
  • Define, import and monitor new client conversion tickets based on client go-live date
  • Attend and facilitate daily scrum meetings to ensure tasks are movingMonitor and track project progress
  • Create and send weekly transition meeting agenda
  • Attend weekly transition meetings and create meeting minutes
  • Inventory data and plan information received from prior TPA and ensure all requested information is received
  • Facilitate test month end as well as first month end to ensure process runs smoothly
  • Prioritize and monitor weekly programming tasks
  • Works with other department’s (end users) requests and concerns regarding questions/issues with transitions
  • Monitor issue tracking log to ensure it is up to date and issues are responded to timely
  • Document procedures.
  • Build a rapport with internal and external customers to elicit their business concern and collaborate in a workable solution.
  • Provides analysis, definition, and direction to computer applications related development and maintenance activities.
  • Ensures correct business functionality, requirements, and industry standards are addressed within the computer application.
  • Develops detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures and data test plans.
This position will perform the following:
  • Review Technical Documents
  • Collect, develop, analyze, and edit Business Process Diagrams.
  • Interview Business Users & Subject Matter Experts.
  • Capture Functional Requirements and develop Use Cases.
  • Data analysis, mapping, verification and testing.
  • Report comparison and compilation.
  • Quality Assurance

Education and Experience: The ideal candidate profile would include 3-4 years of general information technology experience and a desire to learn. Strong client interaction skills are a must.
REASONING ABILITY - Must be capable of thoroughly analyzing data files and reports. Find discrepancies in converted data or system functionality, make necessary corrections based on department procedures, Plan rules and analysis.

Fast paced department. Phone calls are continuous and often unpleasant. Must be able to maintain composure with difficult callers, work independently as well as in a team, must be able to multi-task and must be detailed oriented.
Work Schedule
Full time. Monday - Friday. 7:30am-4:30pm. Work from home position, with in-office days as needed.

Pay
Salary range for this position is $55,000- $65,000 annually. Salary offered dependent on skills, experience, education, location and other business factors.
