Software Project Lead. Troy, MI. Lead execution for North America program software delivery on automotive embedded electronic software. Work with all competencies and managers to ensure flawless launch for NA OEM programs and support post-production for delivery of changes. Manage regional resources working with engineering management and finance to ensure cost efficiency and quality initiatives. Manage customer expectations for NA programs. Define embedded SW architecture in coordination with software and system architects. Identify resource plans and apply them to NA forecast based on headcount and contract resources. Ensure availability and documentation of all product development plan processes and training. Maintain training records of all resources. Coordinate with engineering managers on team technical and career development. Requires Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field, and at least two years of experience in automotive industry software development. Experience must include design and testing of embedded electronic software, developing modular software for microcontroller-based electronic control units (ECUs), evaluating change requests and analyzing issues, software feature coding and testing, identifying infrastructure improvements, embedded C, Trace32, DaVinci Developer, Candelastudio, Vflash, Codebeamer, Simulink, Embedded coder, Stateflow, and MATLAB.
