The Quality Assurance Supervisor is a hybrid position 3 days in the Philadelphia office and 2 days remote. Reporting directly to the Senior Billing Manager, be responsible for the supervision of the billing assistants as well as the day-to-day quality assurance control processes and reporting. Establish daily quality standards and ensure they are being met.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of four billing assistants and monitor the new matter set-up process throughout the department, ensuring that matters are opened correctly
• Implement and maintain a framework that increases the consistency of performance throughout the entire Billing Department
• Work in unison with the Billing Management team by sharing a matrix relationship to improve overall internal compliance
• Offer ideas and suggestions to help streamline processes
• Close matters in our finance software system Aderant, addressing balances preventing matters from closing, and following up with the proper individuals when necessary
• Establish new bill groups when necessary for new matters
• Maintain current matter sets and bill groups when changes required
• Mapping of new ebill clients in Bill Blast
• Assist billing management with monitoring Bill Blast & proactively follow up with Biling Coordinators regarding follow up items when necessary
• Special projects relating to matter and bill group set ups
• Possible other ad hoc billing related projects
• Responsibilities may change from time to time in accordance with business needs; candidate may be required to perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Finance, Accounting, or Business-related field)
• 2 years of law firm experience required
• Must be detailed oriented and able to effectively manage time for productivity
• Aderant and/or Bill Blast experience a plus
• Legal billing experience is required
• Strong communication skills, taking initiative, and accuracy are a must
• Must be able to relate conceptually and practically to the firm’s business processes, policies, and objectives
• Customer service-oriented and professional demeanor required
• Computer proficiency, especially with MS Office, Excel
• Ability to manage people and processes, multiple projects, while meeting deadlines
• Strong organizational skills are required and be able to work independently
