Fast-growing food services Company seeks a Regional Sales Manager for their Mid-West territory to join their team. This position reports to the VP of Sales Operations and works very closely with Marketing & others.
The role of the Regional Sales Manager is to identify new business opportunities by tapping potential customers & converting them into new customers, while maintaining and growing existing accounts. The ideal candidate would be an individual with experience in the foodservice & retail industry who is able to grow sales & market presence in the company’s various customer channels with new and existing customers, by developing and executing customer-specific growth plans.
Essential responsibilities include:
Weekly/Bi-Weekly:· Sales Team Huddle.
· Participates in bi-weekly sales meetings
· Monitors weekly sales reports from accounting to track customer activity& growth.
· Weekly calls w/ their respective regional brokers & key accounts.
· Updates CRM weekly.Monthly:· Call w/ Supervisor to review status of yearly plan & activities of customers in their region.Overall:· Conduct formal meetings with presentations of company products to all assigned customers.
· Explore and evaluate sales & expansion opportunities for the company and brands.
· Ability to motivate and influence buyers, brokers, and distributors to grow sales ahead of our competitors.
· Skilled and comfortable in all types of negotiations and selling environments including live, phone, video call, text, and email.
· Organized, meticulous, persistent, fast, and diligent follow up with customers daily.
· Analytical abilities to read, consolidate and summarize substantial amounts of data into simple insights and opportunities to drive sales and brand growth.
· Ability to multi-task constantly and quickly manage a wide variety of daily customer and business needs.
· Professionally represent the company and brands at trade events and food shows.
· Ability to prepare sales reports and presentations showing sales volume and trends, gaps, opportunities, and results.
· Provide accurate and timely sales production forecasts by item and customer.
Qualifications:
Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 bonus
