Job Description

Job Title: Sales ManagerCompany: TechTrustSalary: $90,000/yr- $100,000/yrExperience: 5 yearsLocation: New York, NY

We're seeking a Sales Manager to join the TechTrust team as we grow. In addition to mentoring and managing our sales staff, this individual will be in charge of external sales. They will do this by creating new sales tactics, concentrating on acquiring new clients, and preserving current ones. This person will also be essential in recruiting, hiring, and training new members of the sales team. With the help of account management and the purchase of additional divisions, the goal is to expand the company over the next 18 to 24 months. Meeting yearly sales revenue targets and knowing how to carry out long-term growth objectives are requirements for this role. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fintech staffing businesses, be able to define opportunities within each of the business areas through a strategy account plan.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Building meaningful and quantifiable pipelines, opening high-level conversations, identifying the decision makers, and closing the deal in a timely manner. 
  • Define opportunities within each of the business areas through a strategy account plan.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of all sales activities, pipeline stages, and follow-up requirements within a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Prospect for new clients through referrals, networking, cold calling, social media, internet research, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, sales leads or utilizing other means of generating interest from potential clients to originate and drive new business revenue growth.
  • Create persuasive approaches and sales pitches; prepare and deliver highly effective sales presentations and develop proposals that address client needs, concerns, and business strategy.
  • Identify and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current clients and/or their delegates within client organizations; obtain a thorough understanding of the client’s business, organizational structure, financials, competitiveness in the market and desired business outcomes.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue, profit, and growth targets.
  • Participate in pricing solutions/services and, negotiate and secure profitable pricing that yields achievement of revenue, gross margin, and other financial goals.
  • Provide direction and guidance to the recruitment team on client job specifications, candidate criteria, timelines and expected results.
  • Anticipate and resolve to satisfaction any potential or present issue impacting client engagement.
  • Address client needs, provide delivery solutions, and maintain a high-touch partnership to maintain and/or grow the company. Provide after hours availability to address urgent client requests.
  • Produce, analyze, and communicate sales forecasts and other related reports to key stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to new or less-experienced team members as requested.
  • Provide continued professional development to enhance understanding of industry methods and effective recruiting/sourcing strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role in the Staffing industry.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Fintech industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Experience using CRM software and sales reporting tools.
  • Experience in strategic planning and close collaboration with end users for business development.
