The Receptionist is the primary point of contact for all students, parents, and general inquiries to the school and is responsible for providing assistance to all who enter the office and/or call the school. The essential duties of the Receptionist are answering phone calls and providing assistance to parents and students who enter the office. The Receptionist is also responsible for assessing student needs and providing first aid when necessary, in addition to performing general clerical work (filing, data entry, mail distribution, record keeping, photocopying, contacting parents when students are sick/injured, etc…)
The ideal candidate must possess the following qualities:
· Previous experience in a school setting and/or customer service role
· Bilingual (English and Spanish)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Be passionate about working with children
