In the Recruiter role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment plans and strategies designed to hire high-quality team members to join our Comfort Keepers family - while maintaining HR policies and procedures at the local, state, and federal levels. In addition, as a critical team member, you will help identify future hiring needs, source candidates through our internal database, conduct interviews, file necessary hiring paperwork, and complete other recruitment-associated tasks. 

Position Details

  • Salary: $65,000 Commission
  • Location: San Diego, CA
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Shift: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Recruiter Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all activities involved in recruiting new caregivers, including developing recruiting strategies, candidate sourcing, interviewing candidates to ensure their qualifications meet job requirements, assessing background and reference screening, selecting, and negotiating.
  • Partner with the Care Management team to identify that candidates meet client needs
  • Record applicant information in a data management system
  • Utilize creative, multi-faceted sourcing tools and processes to source quality Comfort Keeper candidates
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriate skills, experience, and knowledge
  • Convert quality candidates to onboarded employees
  • Ensure a platinum onboarding experience for every caregiver
  • Identify qualified candidates through various sourcing and recruiting tools
  • Maintain understanding and knowledge of staffing, recruitment, and retention initiatives for the office and proactively seek and implement new, creative recruitment tactics to attract qualified candidates within specified time frames to achieve operational goals
  • Partner with management to plan and anticipate workforce needs based on business development strategies
  • Provide timely feedback to Owner/GM on trends, challenges, and opportunities in recruiting and retention
  • Support a growing, diverse, and dynamic office environment
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

  • Proficiency in word processing and computer skills (Office, Excel, & PowerPoint). Will master additional software, including Google Calendar and ClearCare management system.
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment under pressure while maintaining the highest level of respect for your colleagues.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize
  • Able to adapt to the frequently changing needs of clients, caregivers, and the admin team.
  • They will have a high degree of integrity to work without supervision and conduct themselves in a manner that represents the best of what Comfort Keeper is.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task
  • Must possess general knowledge of employment laws and practices and be able to handle information with confidentiality
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in Human Resources in the homecare/healthcare field preferred
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, and Pre-Employment Drug Screening
