Job Details
- Process Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of current processes, focusing on reporting, communications, and tools used in technology portfolio management.
- Documentation: Document customer needs and objectives to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Define Transition Points: Work with the Director of PM to define the Point of Departure (POD) Clearly, Point of Next (PON), and Point of Arrival (POA) for our portfolio management processes.
- Gap Analysis: Identify and document gaps in current reporting and analytics capabilities compared to what is needed to run portfolio management processes and effectively meet customer needs.
- Strategic Recommendations: Work with the Director of PM and provide strategic recommendations for the PON & POA based on thorough analysis and industry benchmarks.
- Roadmap Development: Work with the PM Director. Propose a detailed roadmap to achieve the PON & POA, outlining necessary steps and timelines.
- Minimum of 8 years in process assessment and management, particularly in technology or business contexts. Prior consulting experience is highly valued.
- Proven experience in process assessment, particularly in a technology or business context.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to assess complex processes and define strategic improvement points.
- Experience in documenting and analyzing customer needs and translating them into actionable plans.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in portfolio management and technology operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to stakeholders and executive teams.
