MAJOR INVESTMENT BANK IS LOOKING FOR HADOOP DEVELOPER FOR A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION IN CHICAGO, IL

Position : Java Developer
Location : Denver, CO or Chicago, IL
Duration : 12 -18 Months contract to hire
- Strong development skills in Java. Java 8 AND above.
- Strong Java developers with Spring boot exp. some UI exp is added benefit.
- 80% work on Backend side and 20% on Frontend side.
- Working knowledge of Angular.
- Microservices based architecture desirable.
- Exp. on design patterns. RDBMS is a MUST.
- REST API is a MUST.
- Graph Database is highly desirable.
- OpenShift/ Kubernetes desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot.
- Good programming skills including understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns and multi-threading.
- Experience with large scale, globally distributed systems with an emphasis on high availability.
- Experience with Agile development practices.
- Experience in 3rd line production support.
- Great team player, with an ability to mentor other team members to enable them to become more established in their role. A willingness to get involved at times even when not in the area of expertise.
