Your Mission:

As a Temporary Human Resources Generalist at CASL, you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR Manager in various functions aimed at enhancing our organizational effectiveness. This role offers a unique chance to make a tangible impact on our organization's operations and contribute to our mission of empowerment and community enrichment.

Your Impact:

As a Temporary Human Resources Generalist, you will:

  • Update the Employee Handbook to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Develop engaging onboarding orientation presentations to streamline the new hire process.
  • Manage HR metrics and reporting, including headcount, terminations, and work anniversaries.
  • Handle Unanet requests and assist with the maintenance of confidential employee records.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in dealing with critical matters.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all HR-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update Employee Handbook and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Create engaging onboarding presentations.
  • Streamline new hire onboarding process.
  • Manage HR metrics and reporting.
  • Maintain confidential employee records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (3 or more years).
  • Solid understanding of HR legislation and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience with MS 365 and HRIS is highly desirable.
