Your Mission:

As our Safety & Security Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in protecting our assets, personnel, clients, and visitors, all while supervising front desk operations and a dedicated team. From fostering a welcoming environment to swiftly responding to emergencies, your leadership will be instrumental in upholding the highest standards of safety and security.

Your Impact:

As a Security and Safety Manager, your impact will be felt across every aspect of our organization. From ensuring a positive first impression for visitors to swiftly responding to emergencies, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining the highest standards of safety and security. Your leadership will drive efficiency in daily operations, promote effective communication among team members, and uphold our reputation with your professionalism. Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Oversee daily operations to promote efficiency and seamless communication.
• Remain vigilant and proactive in identifying and addressing potential security issues.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, maintaining composure and taking appropriate action.
• Uphold legal compliance and uphold our company's reputation with integrity.
• Collaborate effectively with security officers to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Manage reception activities and maintain organized records for streamlined operations.
• Conduct thorough property patrols and investigations as needed.
• Operate surveillance equipment and perform routine inspections to maintain security measures.
• Serve as a reliable back-up for transportation needs when required.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• High school diploma required, with college coursework preferred.
• Registered security officer in Illinois, with prior military or police experience.
• Proven track record as a security officer with supervisory experience.
• Certification in first aid, CPR/BLS, and crisis intervention/de-escalation.
• Valid Illinois driver's license with a clean record.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Positive attitude with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new systems.
• Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems preferred.
• Ability to speak Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin, or Toishanese) is preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift 75 - 100 lbs. and perform various physical tasks as needed.

Environment and Scheduling:

• Regular hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
• Flexibility to work additional hours for project completion or emergencies.
