• Oversee human resources programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits administration and leave, disciplinary actions and investigations, hiring and separations, and performance management
• Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS, Benefit, and Payroll systems
• Review and track compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring for open positions; collaborate with people managers to understand skills and competencies required
• Administer background checks and drug screens for all new hires
• Conduct employee and leadership trainings as needed, including new hire orientation
• Partner with Marketing Team to draft internal employee communications including memos, procedures, and emails
• Conduct internal discussions, investigations, and separation meetings as needed
• Process documentation for all airport badge holders including signatory information, record maintenance, and scheduled visits to the site
• Attend campus and professional job fairs, as well as networking events, as needed
• Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives
• Actively participate in all company meetings and extracurricular activities
• Act with confidentiality, integrity, and the utmost discretion at all times
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
• Create a positive work environment by communicating effectively, respectfully, and leading by example

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field required; SHRM-CP or PHR highly advantageous
• Minimum two years of human resources management required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint required
• Knowledge of HRIS, ATS, and payroll platforms required
• Excellent interpersonal skills and employee-centric orientation required
• Highly responsible, confidential, and trustworthy
• Ability and desire to learn in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to frequently travel to and from job sites and vendors
• Possess leadership skills and strong interpersonal communication to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and vendors
• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• Ability to work well under pressure, especially in times of high stress

• Work mostly performed at our corporate office in Chicagos West Loop neighborhood
• Occasional travel to different work sites, Ohare airport, and vendors required
• Regular walking, standing, sitting, use hands to handle objects
• Occasional reaching, climbing, kneeling, crawling
• At times may need to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds
