Capgemini Government Solutions is Hiring a Project/Program Manager Near Orlando, FL

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced Project/Program Manager to join our team to support our government clients. The successful applicant will work closely with organizational leadership to optimize execution across multiple teams and client projects.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skillset, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of stakeholders, and build CGS' capabilities to serve our clients.

Job Responsibilities

As a Project/Program Manager, you will:

  • Create and manage processes to continuously improve and adapt our development processes to enhance delivery.
  • Customer relationship management and communication
  • Partner with the technical leadership team to manage the entire development, release, and support processes of your projects
  • Facilitate communication within the project team and among key partners. Build positive relationships with client teams, internal teams, and external partners
  • Program management reporting and risk management
  • Hands-on project management including scope, team capacity, deliverables quality, and profitability
  • Continually drive day-to-day production across different internal development and external partner teams, scheduling sprints, balancing priorities, and supervising progress

Required Qualifications:

  • S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Extensive experience working in Government Industry with experience with Defense and Federal Civilian customers (15 years)
  • Experience with both people and large-scale program management
  • Proven Agile project management experience
  • Experience growing projects organically, supporting government business development, and responding to requests for proposals (RFP)
  • Program Management Institute, Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • A strong influencer with great communication skills, able to work with diverse groups, align teams around common goals, and present to C-suite executives
  • Understanding of security and compliance for government and regulated industry
  • Experience managing and working with geographically remote teams
  • Ability to travel periodically to client offices

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding of software engineering methodologies and frameworks
  • Understanding of JIRA or similar project / agile lifecycle management software
  • Experience in working within a large-scale consulting practice
  • Ability to acquire a Secret level security clearance; active Secret or higher clearance.
  • Client-focused and excited about orchestrating sophisticated products and services
