Brooklyn Chinese-American Association is Hiring an Accountant Near Brooklyn, NY
A non-profit multi human services organization serving primarily Asian-Americans in Sunset Park, Brooklyn is seeking a Fiscal Officer.
Qualifications
Applicant for the Fiscal Officer position must meet the following requirements:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Have at least 1 year’s accounting experience
- Accounting experience in non-profit agency a big plus
- Chinese bilingual preferred
*Job Responsibilities
*
- Maintain fiscal control of multiple government funded programs.
- Monitors accounts receivable, accounts payable and cash flow of the programs.
- Responsible for recording, deposit and disbursement of program monies and ensure that the transactions are properly recorded.
- Prepare program monthly reports and other fiscal reports as required by the funding source in a timely manner.
- Maintain assigned fiscal files and records accurately.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
