Project Accountant Needed - Builder in Brooklyn NY building large luxury multifamily residential buildings.

Main Duties:

-Liaison between Project Mgmt & Accounting

-Ability to use Timberline / TimberScan For A/P, Contracts, & Job Cost Reporting.

-Research & Resolve billing A/P problems.

-Maintain Real Time Job Project Cost sheet including Cost to Date, Paid to Date & Vendor Balance Due.

-Track Subs Certificates of Insurance.

-Process All Payment Requisitions determining accuracy of subcontractor paperwork.

-Vendor communication.

-Review & maintain lien waivers.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of experience working for a General Contractor or a similar role
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
