BPA Health is Hiring a Marketing Manager Near Boise, ID

Description

General Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to promote our products and services, enhance brand awareness and drive customer acquisition. This role requires a creative and analytical mindset, strong storytelling skills, and a proven track record delivering successful marketing campaigns. We are a small business, and this position is responsible for all aspects of the marketing function. This role is not responsible for people management.

An expert writer/storyteller who's interested in helping us grow and having fun with their team along the way is the ideal candidate. The Marketing Manager is professional, friendly, supportive, self-directed, and embodies BPA Health’s core values of “do the right thing, growth mindset, actively engage, and do what you say.”

Strong skills and experience in at least three of the following areas of responsibility is required to be considered as a candidate:

Essential Functions:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategy to achieve business objectives and increase market presence.
  • Brand Management: Manage and enhance the company's brand image and reputation through consistent messaging, visual identity, and customer engagement.
  • Storytelling and Content Strategy and Creation: Craft and execute content strategy and create engaging and relevant content for multiple target audiences and various channels and delivery methods while ensuring alignment with brand messaging and values. Produce engaging marketing content, such as graphics, videos, blog posts and traditional marketing materials. Create content our customers will find engaging and useful. 
  • Strategic Communications: Work with senior leadership to develop and implement a strategic public relations plan in support of the BPA Health strategic direction. Collaborate with leadership to provide seamless and integrated strategic communications and media relations support. Create presentations and talking points for community speaking engagements.
  • Digital Marketing: Plan and execute digital marketing efforts and campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content creation.
  • Social Media Management: Create and maintain social media strategy and content to build and engage our customers and online community, driving brand loyalty and customer interaction.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data and analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to inform future strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts. Coordinate efforts when external marketing professional services are needed.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan and execute marketing events and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Additional Support: Assist with various marketing tasks to bolster the company's overall marketing efforts and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Creative thinker with a track record of successful campaign creation and execution.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and technologies and willingness to research and experiment.
  • Basic knowledge of typography, hierarchy, alignment, and placement in composition and layout design, using images and considering balance, flow, composition, and white space.
  • Successfully blend strategically defined business objectives with a brand-oriented visual aesthetic.
  • Ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, tight timeframes, and ambiguous external environment. 
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Adaptive to change.

Acceptable Experience and/or Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, media arts, graphic design, marketing, or public relations is preferred but not required
  • 2 successful years in marketing role with demonstrated success growing new product awareness and engaging an audience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite, including desktop publishing and hands-on experience with graphic design
  • Experience and firm understanding of technology and integration for common operating systems such as Apple, Android, social media platforms, CRM platforms, WordPress, email marketing, etc.
  • Spanish language skills a plus
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities to thrive in the creative and marketing department may be considered
