United Way of Treasure Valley is Hiring a Director of Communications and Marketing Near Boise, ID
United Way of Treasure Valley is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director to spearhead our organization's Communications and Marketing endeavors in ways that advance our mission – helping to advance the work of our key initiatives and sharing our impact with diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and exceptional content communication skills to engage stakeholders, increase awareness, and drive support for our initiatives.
Responsibilities - Strategic Communications and Brand Management:
- Manage the brand identity of United Way of Treasure Valley, ensuring consistency and alignment with our values and messaging.
- Work closely with the leadership team, including Directors and the CEO, to ensure alignment of messaging and support for various departments. This involves providing strategic guidance on marketing and communication efforts, tailoring messaging to different audiences and objectives, and leveraging automation tools for efficiency and impact. This role plays a key part in driving the organization's mission and maximizing its visibility within the community.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communications and marketing strategies aligned with United Way of Treasure Valley's goals and objectives.
- Oversee key vendors/contractors related to Communications and Marketing.
- Create compelling and engaging content across various platforms including the website, social media, email newsletters, press releases, letters to the editor, annual reports, and other collateral materials.
- Utilize automation and AI technologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of content creation, copywriting processes, and diverse methods of communications.
- Analyze data and performance metrics related to content creation, iteratively refining strategies to improve outcomes and achieve organizational goals.
