Office Assistant needed in Manhattan!
Full time, 35 hour/week position
OVERVIEW:
The Manhattan North Center is looking for individuals who can create a warm, welcoming, friendly and professional environment for our clients and staff. The Office Assistant supports the program by carrying out tasks that ensure the clinic runs smoothly and we can provide quality services to our clients and families. RESPONSIBILITIES (include but NOT limited to)
-Provide support to Office Manager and clinic administrative staff-Answer incoming calls and make necessary outgoing calls for our providers. Taking messages as needed for staff.-Checking in clients- insurance check, collect and apply payments, inform clinicians of clients arrival-Scheduling/re-scheduling clients and maintaining scheduling calendars for clinic staff in the electronic record-Record copayments and private fees in Avatar system-Verify payment front logs with daily receipts on a daily basis-Enter transportation data into the NYC PTAR system as needed-Assist with charts/filing/scanning, Photocopying and mail projects-Assist with coordinating Open Access: including explaining intake packets to clients, assigning clients in Avatar system-Utilizing PSYCKES system to run reports -Utilizing and monitoring of E-Signature system to send out forms to clients REQUIREMENTA
-HS Diploma required-Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if needed-Good communication skills-Good typing skills-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
