A leading digital streaming network is seeking an Accountant. The successful candidate will be working on the day-to-day preparation of contractual reporting to co-production partners, third-party participants, and content owners on television shows. The ideal candidate has relevant work experience in the entertainment field.The company offers a great work environment!
Accountant Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $45
- Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (Los Angeles, CA 90038 - Hybrid, onsite Mondays and Tuesdays)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL
- 40 hours/week, 4 Month Assignment, Possibility of extension
Accountant Responsibilities:
- Reconcile statements to ledgers for accuracy.
- Reconcile data generated from various systems.
- Prepare contractual accounting statements to talent and producers.
- Adhoc Requests.
Accountant Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in accounting (mid-level).
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance.
- Relevant work experience in the entertainment field.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills are required to analyze financial data.
- Proficient in general accounting principles. Must understand and know how to read ledgers.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (i.e.: create formulas, pivot tables and v-lookups).
- Be able to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
- A self-starter and works independently with minimal supervision.
