FloQast is looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Accountant to join its growing team. This position requires excellent communication, an ability to think critically and creatively, attention to detail, a team-oriented attitude and a love of accounting.

What You'll Do:

• Participate in day-to-day accounting operations including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, accruals and conducting account reconciliations
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process by providing documents and explanations as required and address any audit findings or recommendations
• Financial Systems: Use and implement internal financial systems from time to time, including Coupa, FloQast, NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara et. al.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of monthly Flux analysis 
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial processes
• Any other accounting related responsibilities may be assigned from time to time
• Special projects as may be assigned

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations, including GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace and other accounting software (e.g., NetSuite)
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
• CPA, or CPA candidate
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred

The base pay range for this position is $85,000- $115,000. Compensation is not limited to base salary.
