Job Description
Impact :
As our Accountant , you will have the opportunity to assist in the day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities for multiple entities within a 500 employee Law Firm.
Daily Tasks:
- Manage multiple entities.
- Perform account and expense analysis.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Post accrual entries and journal entries.
- Prepare business license reporting.
- File annual tax renewals.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Support month, quarter, and year-end close process.
- Assist with reporting accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Contribute to ad hoc accounting projects as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive Accounting Experience.
- Experience managing multiple entities.
- Highly detail oriented with strong, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and Logic Functions.
- Knowledge of finance, budgeting, cost accounting, cost control principles, and GAAP principles.
- Ability to make fiscal projections based on historical trends, anticipated changes and/or goals.
- Excellent organizational and follow through skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as an active participant in a team environment.
- Must possess a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Compensation range based on experience: $85,000 - $110,000
