Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate to join our legal team. As a Litigation Associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various aspects of litigation cases. Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using resources such as Westlaw to support case preparation
- Assist with drafting and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Manage and organize case files and documents using document management systems
- Transcribe dictations and prepare accurate written summaries
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure smooth case progression
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements

Skills:
- Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw
- Excellent written communication skills to effectively write legal documents
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities
- Familiarity with contract review and analysis
- Proficient in legal drafting techniques
- Ability to transcribe dictations accurately
- Experience with administrative tasks in a legal setting
- Knowledge of document management systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
