Atlas Molded Products, a Division of Atlas Roofing Corporation, specializes in the development and manufacture of innovative, high-quality, HFC- and HCGC- free Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) insulation for construction, packaging, and original equipment management (OEM) products. Atlas Molded Products is seeking a Territory Sales Representative (Architectural) for the Des Moines, Iowa and also Kansas City, Kansas territory.

Territory Sales Representative Primary Responsibilities

• Increase sales and profit margin by building ongoing relationships with Design Professionals, Customers, Contractors and Distributors.
• Maintain awareness of market pricing, product innovations, competitive product lines and market trends that may affect your market.
• Communicate accurate information daily with Regional Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director, on developments impacting their areas of responsibility.
• Communicate with customers in a timely manner.
• Promote and display products at trade shows and customer events.
• Promote new products and keeps customers informed of promotions, special offers, and incentive opportunities.
• Follow up on quotes and ensure the proper documentation has been sent to the appropriate Customer Service, Sales Support, and the Pricing Administrator.
• Travel for this position is mostly by driving but some flying may be required.

Territory Sales Representative Experience

• Four (4) years’ experience minimum or at least in the construction and/or building materials industry, preferably insulation products.
• Four years in a field sales capacity is required preferably in the construction, infrastructure, and architectural projects for insulation, stabilization, and other applications.

Territory Sales Representative Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to professionally communicate verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers and anyone involved in the sale of the product.
• Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and the public.
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, People Soft)

Education, Licenses & Certifications

• Four (4) year degree is preferred.
