Scion Nonprofit Staffing, a full-service national staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Human Resources for immediate hire a long-standing nonprofit in Seattle, WA ! This is a Direct Hire, Hybrid (3 days onsite/2 days remote) opportunity.

As the Director of Human Resources , this role will play an important part in strategic change management and streamlining of the goals and objectives of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee employee compensation and benefits, HR systems, employee and labor relations, and staff development activities.
• Oversee workplace investigation processes as well as coach and train leaders on performance management standards.
• Ensure processes are improved and implemented.
• Utilize HR reporting and tracking systems to identify inequities and enhance efficiencies.
• Ensure the organization operates in compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Guide the interpretation and review of policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Manage the HR staff and ensure all are properly trained in employee-related information while serving as a resource for questions and issues.
• Manage CBA administration, union relations, employee communications, grievance/arbitration resolution, and disciplinary actions.
• Support the Finance team with payroll administration for the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• 5 years of Human Resources leadership experience within a nonprofit organization is required .
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or other related discipline required .
• SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
• Experience with compensation and benefits administration.
• Working knowledge of ADP or other HRIS systems preferred.
• This role is responsible for promoting and ensuring an environment supporting DEI core principles.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
