Human Resources works directly under the supervision of the C.O.O. The position manages all aspects of personnel including recruiting, on/offboarding employees, employee relations, practice group staffing, salaries, benefits and compliance, and policies and procedures.
The responsibilities include fostering a positive work environment and employee engagement, properly staffing teams of attorneys and assistants, identifying individual and group cross-training needs and future development, and administer salaries and benefits.
Experience & Qualifications
Candidates must have experience as an HR Manager/Director in a legal environment, have strong interpersonal skills, be able to identify issues, make recommendations to achieve positive results which align with our organizational goals and values.
Candidate should have a strong understanding of state and federal employment laws and regulations and excellent comprehension of benefits (e.g., FMLA, COBRA, Medicare Integration, Health Care Savings, Section 125, HIPAA.)
The candidate should also possess excellent technical abilities.
BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
SHRM-CP, PHR, or HR Certification(s) a plus.
