We are seeking a passionate, results-oriented data analyst to grow our data team and assist in creating a library of reports for our customers. The successful candidate will enjoy the details and feel a sense of accomplishment in identifying and mapping data fields. They will be responsible for collaborating with our engineering and services teams as well as our customers to scope and deliver best-in-class solutions to our government customers. Among other important responsibilities, they will be responsible for scoping, documenting, and creating reports, imports, and exports as well as assisting with various data related tasks including SQL request and data migrations. The ideal candidate will have experience with Excel, SQL, and Power BI and a passion for delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities of the Data Analyst…

• Take ownership of end-to-end data projects, including managing customer communications, ensuring comprehensive documentation, and creating effective solutions for assigned projects.

• Collaborate closely with implementation project managers to gain a deep understanding of operational objectives and become familiar with various business functions.

• Collect and document comprehensive business requirements for report specifications, imports, and exports, ensuring clear and accurate documentation.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the implementation process, including customers, project managers, product teams, development teams, and PM management, as necessary.

• Utilize business intelligence tools, SQL queries, and Power BI to develop reports, imports, and exports that align with business needs and scope requirements.

• Act as a bridge between IT stakeholders and business users during project implementation, effectively communicating and translating requirements between both parties.

• Gain a thorough understanding of the system's data architecture to facilitate the creation of tailored solutions that address business needs, scope, and specific output requirements and formats.

• Proficiently write SQL scripts to perform various data tasks, such as data updates and migrations, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

• Evaluate existing business processes, proactively identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Contribute to the team's success by regularly updating, implementing, and maintaining team procedures and documentation, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
