AreaTempsINC,® is Hiring a HR Manager (FT) Near Cleveland, OH

A non-profit organization is seeking a Manager who will be responsible for Human Resources Management for all employees and volunteers. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; however, occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
Responsibilities:
  • Recruit exempt, non-exempt, intern, and volunteer positions
  • Create job descriptions, post positions, screen resumes, conduct interviews, prepare offer letters and new hire packages, oversee terminations, and coordinate performance review process for all employees
  • Review benefit plans and costs, enroll eligible employees, and report any changes to personnel
  • Process and document new hires, terminations, benefit changes, and oversee payroll processing
  • Coordinate all necessary documents for Worker's Compensation or Unemployment Claim filings
  • Update employee manuals and policies and ensure all local, state, and federal employment requirements are met
  • Manage the organization's diversity, equity, inclusion initiatives
  • Maintain production relationships with staff, volunteers, directors, and managers
  • Attend and assist with special events, speaking engagements, and fundraising 
  • Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Must have an Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally as a HR Generalist; Non-profit financial experience is a plus
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, database software programs, and UKG
  • Must have effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Must have strong analytical, project management, organizational, and time management skills
  • Must have a positive team-oriented attitude with the ability to pay high attention to detail, think creatively, complete projects accurately and on time, and frequently adjust to agency needs
  • Must be able to comply with all policies and requirements and maintain confidentiality
