Apollo.io is Hiring a Remote Account Executive, Mid-Market

Introduction

Apollo.io is seeking an enthusiastic Account Executive to drive net new customer acquisitions for our Mid-Market team. As a mid-market hire, you'll play a pivotal role in continuing to grow our mid-market segment and find strategies to tap into the enterprise segment as well, leveraging both farming and outbound strategies to drive growth. If you're passionate about sales, eager to make a tangible impact, and thrive in dynamic environments, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Closing net new business opportunities within mid-market Tier 1/Tier 2 accounts.
  • Cultivating expansion revenue growth within closed-won accounts, initiating within 90 days of initial closure.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process, from discovery calls to negotiation and finalizing deals.
  • Proactively identifying and driving recommendations for additional use cases and seat purchases.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.

  1. Customer-centric mentality: Ability to balance customer needs with business objectives.
  2. Product aptitude: Eagerness to delve into product capabilities, driving increased usage and adoption.
  3. Revenue mindset: Proven ability to generate pipeline and close revenue through upsell, cross-sell, and upgrades.
  4. Curiosity: Desire to learn about sales tech, customer business models, and industry trends.
  5. Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams for mutual success.

Requirements:To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • 4-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in product-led growth environments
  • Experience in sales or Go-To-Market (GTM) product lines is a plus.
  • Track record of consistently meeting monthly or quarterly revenue targetsĀ 
  • Experience developing a 3x pipeline through a strategic blend of inbound leads and targeted account acquisitions.
  • Experience driving product activation within 90 days by deeply engaging with customer usage and securing initial meetings.
  • Comfortable identifying additional use cases and expansion opportunities to enhance customer value and drive future activations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with customer success, support, and marketing
