Business Development Representative 

Responsibilities:

  1. Qualifying Leads: BDRs evaluate leads generated from marketing campaigns to determine if they are potential sales opportunities.
  2. Outreach: They reach out to potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  3. Company Presentation: BDRs present their company’s products or services to potential clients.
  4. Needs Identification: They identify client needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
  5. Customization: BDRs tailor product solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  6. Relationship Building: Building long-term, trusting relationships with clients is essential.
  7. Business Opportunities: Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market.
  8. Meeting Setup: Setting up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.
  9. Reporting: Regularly reporting sales results to the Business Development Manager.
  10. Product Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with new products, services, and pricing/payment plans.

Requirements and Skills:

  1. Experience: Work/intern experience as a BDR, Sales Account Executive, or in a similar role.
  2. Sales Techniques: Hands-on experience with various sales techniques, including cold calls.
  3. CRM Software: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  4. Analytical Skills: Understanding of sales performance metrics and proficiency in analyzing spreadsheets and charts using tools like MS Excel.
  5. Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  6. Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
  7. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is desired but not required.
