Position Overview

Overview

The main duties include:

• Perform service, maintenance and calibration on equipment coming back in from field use to ensure it is field ready.
• Learn new and updated technology for field NDT applications from vendors; perform training and testing for NDT personnel so they can fully use solutions out in the field as per company expectations and quality programs.
• Assist in the development of training processes, procedures, and polices in line with Aegeus Inspection Solutions and JANX SNT Written Practice Program for NDT methodologies using new and updated technology.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new training courses, materials, and the roll out of new technology.
• Develop and administer quizzes and examinations; provide feedback in improvement and development areas for personnel as need

Education and Work Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 10 years of experience in NDE/NDT field, technology, or equipment experience.
• 5 years of experience in advanced NDT applications and technology such as UT-SW, Pipeline Integrity, and AUT.
• 5 years of field experience in RT or UT Shear-wave as a lead technician level II / III, preferred.
• 5 years of experience conducting classroom instruction and training in the NDT industry
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• 5 years of experience in the oil and gas including exploration, refining, production, storage, and pipeline integrity preferred.
• Technical Diploma in Electronics Preferred.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Certificates and Licenses Required

• Ability to be certified in accordance with Aegeus SNT-TC-1A in a Level II certification in UT, RT, MT, VT, UTT, and /or PT.
• IRRSP or equivalent and or the ability and eligibility to obtain.
• Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
