About the Job

The Senior Accountant role will get exposure to corporate accounting as well as portfolio companies and investments. The responsibilities include managing financial statements, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to make informed business decisions. Who You Are

• 2 – 5 years of professional experience in accounting; Public Accounting, Venture Capital, Asset Management or Technology industries preferred
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA/CPA a plus.
• A comfort with the uncertainty and ambiguity inherent to early-stage business support and growth
• A knowledge of and passion for the early-stage ecosystem across sectors
• Possess a high level of financial and analytical rigor
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong work ethic
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for monthly financial closing activities, procedures, journal entries, and account reconciliations of each incubation studio
• Manage accounts payable and travel expense processes
• Assist with preparation of month-end financial packages
• Database and records maintenance, including data entry and backup, managing QuickBooks entries/reports, and related activities
• Record and track SPV activity
• Assist with coordination of outside tax counsel
• Assist with coordination of periodic valuation work
• Support annual audit process
• Coordinate Treasury functions with senior management
• Create best practice procedures for accounting aw

Target Annual Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000. Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include equity, annual discretionary bonus, or other benefits offered by the Company, as applicable.
