160 Driving Academy is seeking highly driven, energetic and organized individual to add to our team in Chicago, IL. This is an in-person role requiring a presence in our headquarters office.

As a IT Support Engineer at 160 Driving Academy, you are a vital member of the 160 IT Service Desk team. You will play a vital role in providing technical services, project development, and support for our internal users.

Must Have:

Successful completion of a full 2-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to an associate’s or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an IT technical support and customer-facing role
• General to Advanced Knowledge of IT functions and disciplines
• Previous experience supporting Mac OS computers, and Android Tablets with direct customer communication.
• Moderate to Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office 365 services
• Understanding of Mobile Device Management platforms
• Understanding of Networking functionality
• Prior experience supporting software (SaaS)
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), and customer service skills.
• Solid troubleshooting skills (particularly remote)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tickets
• Superior time management, follow-through, and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy Prior project work experience
• Prior experience with vendor negotiations

Job Description:

• Work as part of a team, interacting with upper management, field teams, and peers collaboratively
• Answer incoming support requests in accordance with SLA standards, utilizing Jira ticketing system, and document issues, achieving full and timely resolution
• Assist with national projects, including documentation, training, and deployment
• Participate in asset management activities (creating inventory reports, order tracking, etc.)
• Participate in the development and implementation of standards and process improvements, striving for continual improvement and industry best practice methods
• Act as an escalation point for junior team members
• Assist with planning, implementation, and support of IT projects as needed
• Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal, and explain technical concepts to both a technical and non- technical audience
• Create and maintain knowledgebase articles and training documentation
• Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
