Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a full-time Office Specialist - Front Desk to work at the front desk, complete daily office support functions in its outpatient clinic located in Layton, Utah.

The shifts assigned to this position are:
Front Desk
The successful candidate will work at the front desk in the outpatient clinics. Duties assigned to this position will consist of working at the receptionist desk checking in clients for appointments, answering phone calls, and providing excellent customer service to clients, co-workers, and community partners as well as completing office support tasks such as scanning, answering phone calls, etc.
The successful applicant will answer telephones and route calls based on requests or subject matter; schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments: provide information to the public: greet walk-in and potential clients: refer clients to appropriate staff: accept payments: data entry: process and maintain variety of records, file, type, distribute mail, complete end-of-day receipts: and complete other tasks as assigned. Successful applicant must be flexible and willing to perform some intake work, records, and other office duties.
Classification
This position is classified as regular full-time, non-exempt. The successful candidate is expected to work 40 hours per week as a full-time employee.
Bi-Lingual Spanish
Strong preference will be given to candidates who are bi-lingual English/Spanish; however, this is not a requirement. A Spanish-language incentive stipend is available for candidates who successfully pass a Spanish-language assessment upon hire.

Minimum Requirements
The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore, making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana.
High school graduation and one year of full-time employment in a related clerical field.
DBH utilizes an electronic medical health records system, so computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.
Microsoft Word and Outlook knowledge preferred. Typing a net of 35-40 wpm preferred but not mandatory.
