Davis Behavioral Health is seeking part-time Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join the part-time/PRN nursing team in all of nursing programs at DBH: Davis County Receiving Center located in Layton, Utah, the medication clinics located at the Layton Campus and at the Main Street Clinic on the Kaysville/Layton border, and the adult mental health residential program in Layton, Utah. DBH staff may also be expected to perform other duties as assigned by their immediate supervisor or the DBH management team.
Schedule
The successful candidate will be guaranteed 24 hours per week to work as a PRN nurse. If the PRN nurse has not been contacted to provide coverage, he/she will work at the end of the work week that runs Friday through Thursday in order to provide the guaranteed hours while note interrupting the ability to provide the coverage for which they were hired to provide.
Nursing shifts at DBH consist of days, swings, and graveyards, so the successful candidate must have flexibility to provide coverage when needed.
The shifts in each program are outlined below:
Davis County Receiving Center (Layton, UT)
Residential Mental Health (Layton, UT)
Medication Management Clinics (Layton, UT; Kaysville/Layton Border, UT)
Compensation
The successful candidate(s) will be offered a base rate based on post-licensure experience.
The starting hourly rate for newly-licensed registered nurses is $33.00. The exact starting rate for RNs at DBH is calculated using the starting rate 1% per year for each year of post-licensure experience up to 10 years and an additional 1% for each additional 3 years thereafter. The starting hourly rate for newly-licensed Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) is $26.00 per hour with the same credited service as described above.
