Davis Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Youth Recovery Support Specialist/Family Peer Support Specialist (FPSS) to join the Children, Youth & Families Behavioral Health team. This position is a combination of the following part-time positions:

This position requires a 40-hour per week schedule.

The successful candidate for the combined full-time position must meet criteria to become certified as both a CPSS and FPSS in addition to completing Targeted Case Management certification.
Davis Behavioral Health utilizes an electronic medical record, which requires proficiency in computer-related skills.
Meeting monthly face-to-face service expectations and productivity standards is also required.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore, making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana.
Targeted Case Management Certification
Candidates who do not hold a professional license must complete certification as a Targeted Case Manager (TCM) within the first 30 days of employment.
Qualifications to become a certified Targeted Case Manage r through the State of Utah Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health include:
Preference will also be given to candidates who are bilingual English/Spanish.
The successful candidate must also have a clean driving record to operate agency vehicles and/or transport clients, when necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients that have sever mental illness, are hard working, can work both independently and successfully within a small outreach team.
